Sami Ağa sınıfta o lakabı alan yegane insandı. Ağır başlı, terbiyeli ve kendine has esprili haliyle tüm sınıfın sevgisini kazanmıştı. Amansız bir hastalıktan sonra genç yaşta kaybettiğimiz için çok üzgünüz.

When you
enter 7B, in the back left hand corner, you see a short fat boy with
waved hair, wearing a brown and yellow checkered coat. This is Sami,
with his nick name, Sami Ağa. He is the cotton king of Çukurova, and has
a hotel (Sami Hilton) of his own in Adana. Although he does not talk
much, he is famous for his 'Adanavari' speaking.
Sami is
fond of eating 'Fasulyeli bulgur pilavı with turşu'. He says that his
weight is due do eating 'bulgur pilavı' three times a day, and enjoying
no sports. He does not like studying, and being taken to prison because
of getting more money than he is entitled to, from his hotel guests. He
has twice been taken to 'Adana Cezaevi), with the charges of violating 'Milli
Korunma Kanunu'.
His
principal hobby is gambling in horce-races. He also has horses which run
at the Hippodrome. Sometimes, his horses become ill. Then, do you know
what he does? He runs there himself. This is the only sport that he
enjoys. And he sells his dead horses to the butchers. He is planning to
be either a hotel bell-boy or a jockey. We wish him ever success in his
either future career.
